Description
This remarkable antique teapot is a stunning example of traditional Ghalam-Zani (Persian hand-engraving) from the historic city of Isfahan. Masterfully crafted from solid copper, the kettle showcases the deep, rugged texture of classic, time-honored metalworking.
The lower body of the teapot is encircled by deeply chased, teardrop-shaped cartouches, each intricately filled with traditional Persian floral bouquets blooming in high relief. The shoulders and lid feature hand-hammered geometric patterns, while the spout is delicately chased with miniature floral accents. Complete with its original, ornately scrolled swing handle and a carved wooden finial, this piece beautifully preserves the authentic character and rustic elegance of ancient Persian craftsmanship.
